Is Allah Jesus?

10 Things Christians Should Know About Muslims And Jesus

A December 2019 Gallup poll found that the percentage of Americans who describe their Christmas celebrations as "strongly religious" has dropped to 35 percent. This is down from about half in previous measures in 2005 and 2010. Nonetheless, Christmas is celebrated by over 90 percent of Americans, which commemorates the birth of Prophet Jesus, God’s peace be upon him.

He is the central figure of Christianity, the religion of the European settlers who came to the country, and whose influence has defined American culture for over two centuries. What few Americans know is that he is important in Islam as well.
Is Allah Jesus? Here are 10 key things to know about Jesus in Islam:

  1. Jesus is considered a Prophet and Messenger of the One, All-Powerful God. Muslims offer words of prayer after saying his name, as they do for other Prophets and Messengers. In English, the phrase “peace be upon him” is a prayer seeking God’s peace for the Prophet being spoken of.
  2. Muslims love Jesus. We also love Abraham, Moses, and Noah, to name just a few other Prophets Muslims revere. May God's peace be upon all of these great Messengers of God.
  3. Muslims also love the mother of Jesus, Mary. We believe she was a pious and noble woman chosen over all of the women of the world. The 19th chapter of the Quran is named after her.
  4. Muslims believe that Jesus was born miraculously of a virgin mother and no father. His birth is miraculous like the birth of Prophet Adam, the first human being, who was created with neither mother nor father (Quran 3:59).
  5. Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the son of God (Quran 5:116). God is so Powerful and Self-Sufficient that He does not need a son or any kind of partner.
  6. In the Arabic Bible the name for God is “Allah”. Arab Christians call God “Allah”, as Muslims do. Prophet Jesus is called “Eesa” in Arabic (sometimes spelled “Isa” or “Eissa” in English).
  7. Jesus did not die on the cross. Rather, God saved him from his enemies and it was made to appear that he was killed (Quran 4:157). He was raised to Heaven.
  8. Jesus performed miracles by the Will of God, like healing the blind and those with leprosy (Quran 3:49).
  9. Jesus prayed to the same All-Powerful One God as all of the Prophets who preceded and succeeded him.
  10. Jesus will return before the end of the world.

Jesus teaches the unity of Allah; the oneness of God.
In the 12th chapter of Mark, it was reported that a
man came to Jesus and asked him: “which is the
first of ll commandments”? and Jesus answered:
“The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O
Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord.” Yet, most christians says Jesus is God. It’s an
amazing situation. Jesus says: The Lord our God is
one Lord; Christians says: no, it is the trinity in the
god-head. Contradicting the messege of Jesus.
Nowhere from the lips of Jesus, did he utter trinity!
And that is the core problem of the churches: they preach what Jesus never preached. Infact,
Christianity went on deifying Jesus. They say Jesus
walked down the Palestine as a divine being. The
question here is, did he says he is God? Did he claim
to be God? Did he says am god worship me? There is
not in any version of the bible where explicitly Jesus says listen everybody: I am god!
He never make such claims. Infact, he rebukes such
claims. In Mark, 10 and Luke 18, when a certain ruler
asked him, what to do to inherit the eternal life,
Jesus says to him:

Greetings to all...
I am happy one of the brothers has believed 12th chapter of Mark..""""".The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O
Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord.”
Yet, most christians says Jesus is God / Trinity....etc.""

Well brother... now let me quote....Genesis 1:26 "Let US make man in OUR image according to OUR likeness"
WHO IS THIS US ????

JESUS may not have used the word TRINITY but bro it is applied. The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit.... Whom HE promised to send after He is ascended to His Father. It is a perfect relationship and love between a Father and His Son.. and the Holy Spirit. As we honour our earthly Father and give him the first position how much more would Jesus (who is an epitome of love and perfection) love HIS Father and place HIM before Himself... that does not make HIM less equal than HIS Father. Likewise Luke, Mark, Matthew they all confirmed "that a bright cloud enveloped them and the voice from the cloud said..."this is my beloved Son, in whom I AM well pleased, listen to HIM" - Matthew 17:5...

God tells us to listen to HIS son.... Are you???... why are you picking and choosing instead of obeying all HIS message.

If a Human being's baby would be known as human being..... then
what would be the identity of the Son of God ??? God only.

The reason why Jesus did not speak so plainly. I think the answer is found in Matthew 16:15-17:

15 He said to them, “And who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus answered him, “You are blessed, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven!” (Matthew 16:15-17).

Jesus did not want Peter and His disciples to believe He was the Son of God just because He said so. He wanted God to bring them to this conclusion, based upon the overwhelming evidence of Scripture and our Lord’s life and teaching.

Please as you have believed the message of Jesus in the chapter of Mark... I hope you will also believe HIS other messages as well i.e. THE ENTIRE BIBLE...

You have not mentioned clearly the verses where you said Jesus rebuked. Had it been...i would have tried to answer that as well. But in fact i can quote you one of the the passages where Jesus did accept the worship : John 20:28 - When Thomas said... My Lord and my God .......Jesus did not rebuke .... instead HE said.... "Because you have seen you have believed... Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe......

So dear brother BELIEVE....

In response to your question: "did he says he is God?"...
Please refer to the following texts in scripture:
1) John 10:30
2) Colossians 1:19
3) 2 Peter 1:1
4) Hebrews 1:8

Also...In Hebrews 1:6, God the Father also says that all the angels should worship God the Son. Worship can only be rightly applied to God, as we know from Exodus 34:14 and Deuteronomy 8:19. Yet Jesus accepted worship of Himself on many occasions (e.g., Mt 14:33; 28:9) and stated that He should be honored equally with the Father (Jn 5:23). In Revelation 5:8, 12-13 and Colossians 2:6-7, we find that Jesus is worshiped in every way that the Bible specifically describes worship of God the Father, with all the same words used (see: Rev 4:9-11, 5:13; 7:11-12, and Rom 11:33).

Jesus is omnipotent (possesses all power):
Philippians 3:20-21 . . . the Lord Jesus Christ, [21] who will change our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power which enables him even to subject all things to himself.

Jesus is omniscient (all-knowing):
Colossians 2:2-3 . . . Christ, [3] in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Jesus is omnipresent (present everywhere):
Ephesians 1:22-23 the church, [23] which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. (cf. Col 3:11)

Another passage is one where Jesus speaks about historical events described as being done by God the Father in the Old Testament. He casually applies them to Himself:

Matthew 23: 34, 37 Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from town to town, . . . [37] O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not!

The proofs that Jesus and God are one in the same are abundant in scripture.

We must not forget what the Bible clearly says: Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one and same. Just like body, soul and spirit. Jesus IS the son of God, his birth, teachings and miracles prove it. If this really confuses than read the Bible after praying to God, to teach you the truth and right way. People blindly read the Bible just because you are told to, if you do that than you will always be confused and never know the love of God. He gave his only Son Jesus to world for us that we may know him and love him.

Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the son of God. God is so powerful and self-sufficient that He does not need a son or any kind of partner.

This, of course is what defines Islam, the Apostles of Christ declared the God and Father of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. And for good reason, the declaration that God made from heaven, "Here is my beloved Son... once at his baptism and once at his transfiguration" I have heard no such declaration from the Quran that "There is no God but Alllah and Mohammed is his messenger" And what does it mean that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today yea and forever, if at a certain point in time God said "Be" and he became. Jesus is the eternal son of God.

Jesus did not die on the cross. Rather, God saved him as his enemies were confused about him. Jesus was taken up by God to Heaven.

Strange isn't it that Jesus himself said that that as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness even so must the Son of Man be lifted up that whoever believes may in him have eternal life.

43 To him bear all the prophets witness, that through his name every one that believes on him shall receive remission of sins. That is not the preachers, evangelists, pastors, or bible punchers, but those who made declarations before his birth. For apart from his death on the cross forgiveness would be impossible. His resurrection declares Divine approval

I am sorry but Muslims love their version of Christ, not the one who was despised and rejected, the man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. As the hymn writer puts it
By weakness and defeat he won the mead and crown;
Trod all his foes beneath his feet by being trodden down

Muslims and Christians are not talking about the same God. Allah is not a Christian God. Muslims do not believe Jesus is the son of God therefore they cannot be the same God we worship because Christians believe in the Holy Trinity and only believing that Jesus Christmas is the son of God is the way to heaven.

Not all Christians believe in the Trinity.
Catholics do but not all Christians.
In the bible it is quite clear that the Father holds control over the sin, Jesus.

If someone does not believe in the Trinity and the saving Grace of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross as payment for sin if we believe....Then they are not "Christian"
