Prophet Muhammad's life and legacy is a source of guidance for us all at all times. It is crucial to re-read his life beyond the chronological events of history, but as a source of guidance for positive and practical impact on our spirituality, career, health, family, and community.
God describes him with these words: "O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And one who invites to Allah , by His permission, and an illuminating lamp" (Quran 33:45-46).
To us, the Prophet was an ideal husband, father, father-in-law, son-in-law, friend, humanitarian, teacher, counsellor, Imam, leader, strategist, diplomat, and above all, a follower and servant of God. May God's choicest peace and blessings be upon him.
Hope. The Prophet had hope for the future. The Prophet also remained optimistic about the situation and the future. Let us remember that if we look only at what is today, we don't consider what could be in the future with the Will and Help of Allah.
The last sermon of the Prophet-peace be upon him- is known as Khutbatul Wada'. It is a great khutbah and we should all pay attention to its message and guidance. Here are the basic points mentioned in this khutbah.
