Muhammad Ali cared deeply for Muslims, the Ummah, as well as all of humanity. He stood up for the people of Vietnam; he worked to stop genocide in Bosnia; he marched for Palestine, and he helped release American hostages.
About 20 years ago, this was the most favorite brochure of Muhammad Ali, The Champ. He would sign his name and distribute it to people he would meet everywhere.
When you think of excellence, perhaps you think of good grads; or becoming wealthy. But excellence to Muhammad Ali was being first in what he liked most: boxing.
