Our 2024 Next Gen Training will take place at the beautiful Diyanet Center of America (DCA) in Lanham, Maryland. The complex sits on a 15-acre site and consists of five main buildings – a mosque built in the 16th century classical Ottoman style, a cultural center building, a guest house, a fellowship hall with a restaurant and gift shop, a recreational building housing a Turkish bath, an indoor pool and sports center. The complex also has an underground parking garage and a geothermal well field.
The DCA is a massive complex and community center, the largest such facility in the country. The $110 million venture was financed and is still supported by the Turkish government to promote an understanding of Islam in Turkey and the world at large. The center is now a popular tourist attraction for visitors to the Washington, D.C. area.

The closest stop on the Metro subway train is on the orange line. The subway trains run from:
- Monday through Thursday, 5a.m. until 12Midnight
- Friday, 5a.m. until 1a.m.
- Saturday, 7a.m. until 1a.m.
- Sunday, 7a.m. until Midnight
It is easy to catch an Uber or Lyft to the DCA from the subway station any time of the day.
🏠 Lodging and Food
Students will be staying on the DCA campus in gender-segregated dorm-style housing. All of the arrangements will be made by our admin team and these details will be shared when applications are received and approved. Staff will also be staying on campus and be available for general supervision. We are expecting our students to be mature in taking their own responsibility to follow the rules of the program as well as Islamic guidance on all matters.
Food will also be catered throughout the event. Students will be served breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the active class periods. Light refreshments will also be available throughout the day.
