Islam the Natural Way by Abdul Wahid Hamid provides an understanding of the main concerns of Islam and the foundations on which it is built. It seeks to show that Islam is the natural way for all creation. To discover Islam is to return to one's natural disposition.

Khurram Murad was an author of over thirty-five works in Urdu and English, whose thoughts have influenced two generations of Muslims all the world over. 

These are a series of excerpts from Abdul Wahid Hamid's book "Islam: The Natural Way", an excellent guide to the Islamic worldview and lifestyle, particularly for Muslims born and/or raised in Western countries. 

Abdul Wahid Hamid was born in San Juan, Trinidad where he had his early education and worked as an elementary school teacher before leaving on a scholarship to the Azhar in Cairo, Egypt. There he studied Arabic for one academic year and moved on to London.
