Being involved in a family business that runs a martial arts gym has given me the opportunity to be around many athletes and to observe how they prepare for major events such as tournaments, championship fights, and even Ramadan fasting while maintaining their training routines.

Isam does not rush the believer into transformation. Instead, it invites the heart to arrive slowly, intentionally, and with awareness.

We have reached the finish line of Ramadan, hopeful that Allah will accept our fasting, good deeds, and forgive our sins.

Fasting is one of the tasks assigned to Muslims during the month of Ramadan. Millions of Muslims fast from sunrise to sundown for an entire month. After Ramadan, not many Muslims fast often, as it is not required.

Fasting during Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam, making it a main part of a Muslim’s belief and practice.

“Truly We sent it down on the Night of Power.
And what will convey to you what the Night of Power is?
The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.
In it the angels and the Ruh descend by their Lord’s authority with every ordinance.
