The Prom, for many teenagers is the ultimate event of their teenage lives. It is the transition to adulthood. It is possibly the last time all of a youth's high school friends will be together at a formal school event.

Society's problems are not the problems of "those people out there". They are our problems, and if we ignore them they will come creeping up to us at one point. As Muslim parents we need to do something about these challenges.

Young adults, teenagers, let alone most kids in our culture are not taught how to earn and spend their money properly. How can we teach our kids to be responsible, debt-free and most importantly Haram-free?
