About the Author Assad Nimer Busool:
Dr. Assad Nimer Busool was born in Reina, Nazareth, Palestine. He received his Bachelor and Masters degrees in Arabic Literature and Islamic History from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. He received a Masters degree in Library Science, and Ph.D., in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, California.
He has taught Arabic and Islam at University of California, Berkeley and San diego State University, San Diego, California and the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Currently he is a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Arabic Studies at the American Islamic College, Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Busool, is a prolific writer in English, Arabic and Hebrew.
