Rashid and his friends witness a robbery at Mrs Wilson's house, but police find no evidence of a break-in. The boys' investigation leads them to the death of an RAF pilot during the Battle of Britain and an old map marking the location of a precious diamond. However they also discover that they are not the only ones searching for the diamond.
During the story we learn about Rashid and his family and some of the tensions Muslim families face in Modern Britain. We also see how Islamic values can be applied to everyday life and through friendship with Gary and Chris.
The book carries a strong message of peace and toleration between all people. It shows how three children from different backgrounds and cultures are able to build a strong bond of friendship and share values that cross ethnic and religious boundaries.

| Something to Ask... | O Allah! I ask You by every name that You have, that You have called Yourself by, that You have taught any of Your Creation, that You have revealed in Your Book, or that You may have kept secret with Yourself. Make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my breast, the dispeller of my sorrows, the eraser of my anxieties and worries. |
