Speakers: Dr. Ihsan Bagby, Br. Abdul Malik Mujahid, Br. Rafael Narbaez
Dawa, or the duty of sharing the message of Islam, is often neglected by Muslims in the West. These three speakers share tips, tactics and ideas on how to change that.
shares a detailed and practical step-by-step narrative of performing Dawa. Often, when we are face-to-face with a non-Muslim, we are hesitant about starting a conversation about Islam. Dr. Bagby gives some practical tactics which will help us confidently open up and convey the beautiful message of Islam.
Abdul Malik Mujahid, political scientist and president of the Islamic multimedia company Sound Vision notes that after many years of hibernation, the Muslim communities in North America are now responding to the media bashing of Islam. Muslims are now realizing the power of the media and are trying to steer towards a positive portrayal of Islam. Thus, the tool of the modern media is a notable asset in the hands of a conveyor of Islam and should be used to the fullest.
Rafael Narbaez, a former Jehovah Witness minister who accepted Islam discusses how Jihad is a word that comes attached to negative connotations, particularly in the West. Muslims' responsibility is to convey the right meaning of this noble word.
Narbaez points out how Muslims in America are performing Jihad everyday and gives an analogy of an army general who chooses the best all-round soldiers in the front lines. Likewise, Allah has chosen Muslims, the best of humanity, to come to America to convey the beautiful Message of Islam.

| Something to Ask... | O Allah! I ask You for Your Love, the love of those who love You, and deeds which will cause me to attain Your Love. O Allah! Make Your Love dearer to me than myself, my family and the cold water. |
