• McDonald's operates at least 469 Halal restaurants in the world.
• Several Chicago Muslims assisted McDonald's learning about the Halal food concept.
  • Mr. Iqbal Musajee helped McDonald's open the first Halal restaurant in Singapore increasing the Singapore sales by 19%. He also helped them later open many other Muslim markets.
  • McDonald's consulted Mr. Mazhar Husaini on the whole process of creating Halal French Fries approximately twelve years ago starting from the creation of Halal beef tallow for that purpose.
• The passage of Halal Food Act in New Jersey, Illinois, California and the pending bills in other states calls for Halal food and certification.
• Therefore, it is surprising that McDonald’s is assuming that Muslims' concerns are satisfied by addressing needs of Vegetarians.
