| 077.001. By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); |
077.001. By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another |
| 077.002. Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, |
077.002. By the raging hurricanes, |
| 077.003. And scatter (things) far and wide; |
077.003. By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; |
| 077.004. Then separate them, one from another, |
077.004. By those who winnow with a winnowing, |
| 077.005. Then spread abroad a Message, |
077.005. By those who bring down the Reminder, |
| 077.006. Whether of Justification or of Warning;- |
077.006. To excuse or to warn, |
| 077.007. Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. |
077.007. Surely that which ye are promised will befall. |
| 077.008. Then when the stars become dim; |
077.008. So when the stars are put out, |
| 077.009. When the heaven is cleft asunder; |
077.009. And when the sky is riven asunder, |
| 077.010. When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; |
077.010. And when the mountains are blown away, |
