KASHMIR:
WHY SHOULD
WE CARE?

We don't hear a word about the 80,000 or so Kashmiris who have been butchered by the Indian army since 1989. There is one armed Indian soldier for each ten Kashmiris in order to supress the freedom struggle of Kashmiris. Kashmir has a monthly casualty rate which is higher than Palestine".

MURDER, RAPE, TORTURE
A DAILY OCCURRENCE IN KASHMIR

For 55 years, Indian occupied Kashmir has faced murder, rape, gang-rape, torture, and the burning of houses on a daily basis.

This repression has intensified since 1990, in response to an indigenous insurgency by the Kashmiris.

BACK IN THE LIMELIGHT:
NOW DO SOMETHING

More recently, Kashmir has been thrust into the limelight by India's continuing bombing and attacks on Pakistan, on the ground that Pakistan supports Kashmir's freedom struggle.

Diametrically opposed to what the India tries to portray the 'militants' or 'terrorists', they are in fact those who are lamely trying to defend themselves and their families and seeking their right to be independent of the atrocious India.

This week, we invite you to find out more about this forgotten genocide.

Even more important, since Kashmir is once again in the limelight, Muslims in North America must not lose their chance to raise awareness and pressure our governments, both at home and abroad, to come up with a final solution to end the oppression of innocent Kashmiris and grant them their right to freedom and self-determination.

Surah Ayah
Something to Ask...
O Allah!
I ask You by every name that You have, that You have called Yourself by, that You have taught any of Your Creation, that You have revealed in Your Book, or that You may have kept secret with Yourself.
Make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my breast, the dispeller of my sorrows, the eraser of my anxieties and worries.
