McDonald's Corporate Responsibility &
American Muslims' Civic Responsibility
How a Consumer Learns About McDonald's Food Items
- Not by visiting their website
- Not by calling the corporate office
- Possibly by reading a nutrition information board presuming it is posted
- Most likely by asking the sales person at the McDonald's counter
- The sales person must decide what to say
- And they have to be quick since the next person in line is showing signs
of wanting to place their order
- The McDonald's sales person is the most common point of information for
consumers
- How can that person offer correct information?
- Being a low paid sales person, most probably young, in the fast track lane
of the fast food king, detail is difficult to remember, especially under pressure!

| Something to Ask... | O Allah! I ask You by every name that You have, that You have called Yourself by, that You have taught any of Your Creation, that You have revealed in Your Book, or that You may have kept secret with Yourself. Make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my breast, the dispeller of my sorrows, the eraser of my anxieties and worries. |
