SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

As Muslims in America we are expected to do what we can to promote and encourage the betterment of the society in which we live. Giving time to the community at large is an obligation on us. There are many ‘causes' we can volunteer time to, donate some money towards, or merely participate in. Anything from volunteering at a school, donating to benefit medical research, marching against injustice and so on will strengthen our personal resolve as well as let the society at large know that Muslims care too. Keep track of involvement/participation below.

Comment: Assalam-o-Alaikum! Mashallah, a very good effort is done to make a plan for Ramadan. Truly, Ramadan is the month to train ourselves for the whole year. Nobody knows whether he/she'll be alive till the next Ramadan, so one should plan to get the most out of it. May Allah grant us strength, motivation, spirit & wisdom to benefit from it. Ameen.

Comment: As Salaamu Alaikum, This personal Ramadan planner is wonderful. I pray Allah rewards you for your efforts and all that uses this guide also. I plan (Inshallah) to make copies for my family, and begin to use it now. This idea should be printed and published, all of our communities could benefit from its distribution, maybe as a fundraiser, maybe just as dawah.

Something to Ask...
O Allah!
You are my Rubb. There is no true god except You. You have created me, and I am Your slave, and I hold to Your Covenant as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You have bestowed upon me, and I confess my sins. Pardon me, for none but You has the power to pardon.
