Comment:As Salaamu Alaikum wr wb! Alhamdulillah, It's good to know that Islam was always on your mind...that you never forgot about your religion. I'm really glad to know that. And mashallah, you decided, on your own, to start hijab. I'm 17 years old, and have been wearing hijab since I was the age of 1. My mother raised me to wear it, so I really didn't know any other way. What we all have to remember is that Hijab isn't JUST about the head scarf, it's about covering the whole body [except the face and hands]. These days you don't see many teens practicing Islam and when I hear about those that willingly start, it just makes me feel good that they have a better change at earning the love of Allah. Those of you who are forced to wear hijab, I want you to remember that Allah said to obey your parents except when they tell you to do something haraam. Wear hijab because they told you to, and do not despair! Inshallah, you will be rewarded for obeying Allah [swt] and you parents! Allahu Akbar!

Comment:Salam, mahahallah this article was very well written, and i think this sister did a good job telling her feelings to the reader and something to say is if u do hijab by force behind ur parents back ur going to talk it off, and allhamdulilah like this teen did u can convince yourself to where hijab, when u are ready, and i do not wear hijab yet, but inshallah i will.

Comment:I really liked your article and I'm sure you're not the only one in the same position. Alhamdulillah, I started wearing my Hijab when I was in grade 3. I think many people are able to relate to your experiences as a young teen.....keep it up sis!

Something to Ask...
O Allah!
Creator of the heavens and the earth! Knower of the hidden and the exposed! Rubb of everything and every one. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but You. I seek Your Protection from the evil of my own self from the evil of Satan and from the evil of Shirk to which he calls.
