Peace and blessings of Allah -swt- be unto you. That article really does make sense. You can say I boycotted mine graduation party too. ( I hope there's a word for women lol). The next day my friends told me how lucky I was not to witness what hadppened. They told me that a muslim girl did unappropriate things. Alhamdulilah, I knew something was going to go wrong, because of all the bad influences.
Its good to see brothers and sisters forbiding things and accepting things.Take care brother May Allah swt bless you. Ameen!

Comment:Asalam alaikum!! The very first comment that came out loudly from my mouth was "wow" but I quickly changed that to MASHALLAH. Its always these kind of life experinces of great people such as Dawud Ali that really gets you thinking and wanting to do somthing amazing with your life. I thank Allah for all he's given me and made me a muslim. And for giving me great parents who actually care about me doing something for this life and the hereafter. "Subhanallah--Blessed is Allah"

Comment:Asalamualaykum wa rahmatullahe wa barakatuh - A v.touching article it just makes me greatful that my parents have brought me up on Islam I'm the youngest of six & insha Allah I & my twin will soon be 17. My 3 elder siblings the eldest who is 30 did not have the same oppertunities as we did @ our ages or childhood. It was more of a struggle for them to become practicing Muslims than us. It really makes me think your article - I'm the only one in the family out of my brothers & sisters whose had opertunity to attend I slamic since the age of 10 & although things in Islamia are v dissappointing 4 me & my family & 4 many others I would still rather attend there than with polite kuffar. & like u said Allah knows best.
May Allah preserve u brother

|My Rubb, |
I beg of you good that lies in this night and good that follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil that lies in this night and from the evil of that which follows it. My Rubb! I seek refuge in You from lethargy and the misery of old age. O Allah! I seek Your Protection from the torment of Hell-fire and the punishment of the grave.
