Comment:It saddens me that for at least the past 20 years that we Muslims have been long and strong in America, we are pitifully allowing all of this slander, oppression, discrimination, tyranny and other ills happen with little more than a whimper. In our effort to be "superior and accepted," we parroted White America values and norms, viewing our African-American BROTHERS with disdain and scorn, not really accepting them as "our brothers in Islam." Had we obeyed our dear Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and truly loved the perpectual victim of 400 years of the worst America has to offer, interacting with them spiritually, genuinely, and socially, then we would have been well equipped to rise up and protest these ills heaped on us now. After all, history shows us that when they were repressed they fought gallantly and forced America to honor Allah's civil and human rights which gave us the right to live in close proximity in the White enclaves that we exclusively do. Now we are finding out that below the surface they hate us too! All is not lost; I will be the first to go to "that downtown Masjid this Jum'a" and humbly ask our brothers to forgive us and instruct us how to wage a campaign getting our civil rights back that they fought, bled and died for. Let us all take my lead before we end up like the Japanese. I rather live in a ghetto than a concentration camp. :(

Comment:I would like to add the most important point!!!!
31- Do not fly back to the US on a domestically based carrier. To spare your self the humiliation of the FAA mandated added layer of security on domestically based airlines flights coming back to the US, get at least your return portion of your trip on an internationally based carrier. Make sure that the return portion is on an aircraft of the internationally based airline. Examples: KLM flight KL6037 Amsterdam-Boston, is not a KLM plane (blue tail) rather it is a Northwest plane (red tail) code shared by KLM, do not take it, flight 8625 Amsterdam-Memphis is a Northwest flight but operated by KLM (blue tail), take it. Also Lufthansa LH9280 is not a Lufthansa plane rather it is a United plane code shared by Lufthansa, do not take it and on and on. All internationally based carriers follow the tightest security measure that matches or surpasses any domestically based carrier's security measure. The deference is that these airlines are not subjected to the non-sense FAA mandated extra procedure were you will have to wait in line only to be humiliated in an interviewed by a not so professional security personnel.

Comment:A helpful and interesting article, but also a frustrating sign of the crzy times we are suffering....not living....suffering under. What has the world come to if Muslims are being advised by Muslims not to be overly courteous or make any sudden movements? The truth is on the side of the oppressed, brothers and sisters. How much longer will Muslims continue to sit down when its time to stand up? How much longer will Muslims defer to the injustices that are meted out to them? We are supposed to be a people of truth and we are a peoplle of justice. If we dont stand up for ourselves and ask for our rights, why should we be surprised when they arent given to us?

|O Allah! |
I ask You for Your Love, the love of those who love You, and deeds which will cause me to attain Your Love. O Allah! Make Your Love dearer to me than myself, my family and the cold water.
