I appreciate your efforts to educate your audience in how to pray salatul Eid. However, my experience is a total of 7 takbeer in the first rak'ah, then 5 takbeer in the second rak'ah. We should look into this and see what all the ulama say.

Comment:Salamo 3aleikum, are sure gays that there is just 3 takbirat in each raka. I used to do this salat (both fitr and ad'ha) since my childhood and it seams to me that there is more takbir.
As far as I know : Raka 1: First Takbir al-ihram witch does exist inevery salat then 6 takbirat and then you read Ftiha and a some of the holly Quran. Raka 2: you say one takbir Before you stand up (or while you are doing that) this does exist in every Salat, then when you stand up you say 4 more takbirat. the rest is similar to every Salat.
lets summarize:
Raka 1: takbir al-ihram + 6 other takbirat.
Raka 2: takbit al-qiyam + 4 other takbir.
