Your song 'What did I do today?' as well as 'Sing Children of the World' are so meaningful that my children have been listening to them often. The lyrics make us think and remind us about our responsibilities. I myself have been praying for many years. However, it was mechanical. Your lyrics are inspirational and have made me ponder about Allah..and immediately, I feel Allah's blessings in that a certain wish is granted or an answer to a question or unsolvable problem is found. I have understood that Islam is about total submission to the Will of Allah. We only have to feel truly submissive and He is very near us. May Allah bless you. You are a blessing to all our umma. The success is using modern music and sincere meaningful lyrics to make everyone thanks. Masha Allah.

Comment:^.^ I'm glad to say that Br. Dawud has been tremendous! The songs really inspire me, and reflects my faith in Allah, and how I can improve by doing acts of faith, even if it means doing little. I'll always remember what Br. Duwud wrote on my graduation cap at ISNA, "Because you're worth it!" And really, every morning when I get up for school, I'd read it and smile, and remember Allah as I go through my day. When I'd feel depressed, that quote lifts my spirit, and I feel I can go through my day with Allah by my side.
