Comment:@ Mohammed: When you seek forgiveness from Allah from your heart, pray to Allah that He helps you stick to your decision. One successful technique that i do is, if i repent something, then first i make sure to develop a habbit of not doing it, once i'm sure i will not return to the bad habbit, only then i sincerly seek forgiveness from Allah and this time i'm sure that i will be able to stop myself, coz i've already given up the habbit before sincerly asking Allah for forgiveness. My intentions even before quitting were to please Allah, He knows best. If you truly develop that fear of Allah, that you're asking the ALMIGHTY for forgiveness, then once you know He showed generosity and forgave you, you will make sure not to do it all over again, coz this time, you may not live long enough to find forgiveness. Nobody knows when they are dying. So after seeking forgiveness, have the fear of Allah to truly quit it. If you fail to quit, or you seek forgiveness, knowing and fearing that you'll do it again, then you're playing games with yourself. Tell Allah you won't do it again, once you've told and assured yourself you won't do it.

Comment:Asalamoulikoum, everyone. I have a question. Everyday i abuse my eyes by watching bad things. I always feel guilty and pray to Allah to ask for forgivness. The only problem is I keep on doing the same bad thing over and over again. I really want to quit, is their still hope for me. Thanks.

Comment:assalamalaikum, fear of ALLAH OR IN OTHER WORDS TAQWA should be taught compulsorily to the muslim youth and children, for ALLAH hates sins and disobedience and if the muslim individuals have to protect themselves from being disgraced and punished then they have to develop a higher level of TAQWA of ALLAH in their hearts, muslim children and the muslim youth must be taught or made aware that ALLAH is watching their intentions, deeds, and actions and that they will be held responsible for each and everything they did alone in the court of ALLAHSUBHANATALA on the day of judgement,ALLAHHAFIZ.

Comment:assalamalaikum, regretting the evil deeds committed in the past and seeking forgiveness from ALLAH is liked by ALLAH,but ALLAHSUBHANATALA in other verses of the HOLY QURAN has also revealed that ALLAH loves those who are the good doers,ALLAH loves those who fear ALLAH,ALLAH punishes those who do continue to transgress,ALLAH punishes those people who do not refrain from commiting sins in present as well as in future,ALLAHHAFIZ.

Something to Ask...
O Allah!
I seek refuge in You from the evils of my hearing, the evils of my seeing, the evils of my tongue; the evils of my heart and the evils of passions.
