Comment:I am married to a muslim man for over 30 years and we married when both of us were very young. Recently, I received a letter stating that he has another wife for sev. years by a nikah ceremony living in the same state which would have taken place without my knowledge if true. Isn't there any registry of muslim marriage? If not, how does a muslim girl know if the man she is marrying is already married?
