The rulings set for employers and employees are simple and call for justice between the two parties. Allah set clear guidelines and boundaries that both must follow. Regardless of what your status or position is, the rules remain the same.

Choosing a career requires not just following our personal interest and inclination. It also calls for wisdom, a broad understanding of market trends, and a solid Islamic perspective, among other things, to make the right choice that will benefit us in our Deen (religion) and Dunya (worldly interests). 

The Muslim community must plan for the future, and this implies taking up positions in a wide array of fields from where to project a positive intellectual, economic and political impact on our community, and society as a whole.
