Comment: The amount of battered & abused women exceeds the number of battered men by far, way far. Women are physicaly weaker than men and have no physical ability to defend themselves. If their is a man who is being battered, then separate yourselft from your wife (only from the home) for a while till she feels guilt. Seek counciling from your imam. Speak to a trusted friend who has a trusted wife who can speak with your wife about this problem. Make divorce your last option. Make lots of dua, ask for forgiveness. Maybe YOU have done something or are doing something that would lead ALLAH to put you in such a situation.

Comment: There are many husbands who are battered by their wifes and go on being the victim for years thinking that the situation may turn around and the wife will finally love them, but eventually they are hurt due to the laws and the inclination of the law towards the other party.
I am a example of this myself , when are we going to wake up realize and stand for ourselves???
